Support for Chronic Illnesses
Living with chronic illness is hard enough.
Your mental health support should actually get it.
Chronic illness changes everything — your body, your identity, your relationships, your sense of what your future looks like. And it often comes with an invisible weight: the exhaustion of managing symptoms that people around you can't see, the grief of the life you planned before your diagnosis, and the frustration and trauma of navigating a medical system that doesn't always listen. You may have been told it's 'just anxiety' or that you need to push through it. You may have been dismissed more times than you can count.
We get it. And we understand that mental health and physical health are not separate things.
-
We support adults living with a wide range of chronic and complex health conditions, including:
Autoimmune conditions (lupus, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, and others)
Chronic pain syndromes (fibromyalgia, CRPS, and others)
Dysautonomia and POTS
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and related connective tissue disorders
Chronic fatigue and ME/CFS
Gastrointestinal conditions (IBS, IBD, SIBO, and others)
Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)
Co-occurring neurodivergence and chronic illness
-
There is a well-documented overlap between conditions like autism, ADHD, hEDS, POTS, MCAS, and other chronic conditions. Many of our clients are navigating both neurodivergence and chronic illness simultaneously — and they often find that most providers address one or the other, not both. We understand this overlap and bring it into the room.
-
Our clinicians offer therapy to support the emotional and psychological dimensions of chronic illness — including grief, identity shifts, health anxiety, caregiver burden, and the relational impact of being chronically unwell.
Our registered dietitians can offer nutritional support tailored to complex medical needs, including anti-inflammatory approaches, elimination protocols, and working within significant dietary restrictions — always from a weight-inclusive, non-diet framework.
We’ve also been building a network of connections to various healthcare providers that also get it - including primary care providers, physical therapists, and other specialists.
-
We work with adults 18+ living with chronic illness, whether newly diagnosed, years into a diagnosis, or still searching for answers. We see clients in person at our Green Bay and Appleton offices, and via telehealth anywhere in Wisconsin — which we know matters especially when you're managing your energy and can't always make it into an office.
