Eating Disorder Treatment

Explore our range of services designed to help you move forward with confidence, wherever you're headed next.

Your relationship with food is more complicated than 'just eat.'

You've probably been told to 'just eat normally' or 'stop obsessing' more times than you can count.

Maybe food has been a source of safety and a source of terror at the same time.

Maybe your relationship with eating is wrapped up in control, or comfort, or sensory experience, or a body that never quite felt like yours.

Maybe you've been struggling for years, or maybe something shifted recently and you're only now starting to name it.

We get it, and you don't have to have it all figured out to reach out.

  • Our clinicians have specialized training in a range of eating disorder presentations, including:

    • Anorexia nervosa

    • Bulimia nervosa

    • Binge eating disorder

    • ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)

    • Orthorexia

    • Disordered eating that doesn't fit neatly into a category

    • Body image distress and chronic dieting cycles

  • There is significant overlap between eating disorders and various types of neurodivergence like OCD, ADHD, and autism — overlap that often goes unrecognized and untreated.

Sensory sensitivities can drive extreme food restriction. Impulsivity can show up in binge cycles. Difficulty with interoception — knowing what your body actually feels — is common in both neurodivergent folks and those with disordered eating.

We understand this intersection and factor it into everything we do.

  • We use an evidence-based, weight-inclusive, anti-diet framework.

Our clinical team includes both therapists and registered dietitians, which means we can offer integrated mental health and nutritional support without you having to coordinate care across multiple providers. Our clinicians also understand the medical complexities of eating disorders, so will also work closely with your PCP or other providers when needed.

Therapeutically, our clinicians are trained in evidence based practices and take you as an individual into account, so no treatment is one size fits all. We blend approaches like CBT, IFS, and somatic approaches to help address both the behavioral patterns and the underlying emotional and relational roots.

  • Our mental health therapists work with teens 14+ and adults navigating eating disorders and disordered eating in all its forms. Our dietitians also work with some children as young as 8 years old on a case-by-case basis.

We do not have a minimum or maximum BMI requirement — eating disorders affect bodies of all sizes.

We see clients in person at our Green Bay and Appleton offices, and via telehealth anywhere in Wisconsin.
