ADHD Specialist Therapist
Job description
Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Clinicians with training licenses will be considered for the right candidate.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in play therapy to join our team. Our company values a democratic leadership style, encourages collaboration, and promotes out-of-the-box thinking. We have a horizontal leadership structure and believe in empowering our team members to reach their full potential.
As an ADHD specialist, you will work with adults diagnosed with ADHD to better understand themselves, process and cope with emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges, and increase self-compassion to create lasting changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ADHD or desire to hyperfocus down the rabbit hole and learn a lot about it!
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual therapy sessions with adults struggling with ADHD and co-occurring struggles (trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, etc.)
Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals, as well as insurance standards
Collaborate with other team members and outside professionals to provide comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in play therapy (or in training to be)
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
Knowledge of various therapy theories and techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to communicate effectively with clients
Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
Opportunity to set own hours and have a blend of in person sessions (Green Bay office) and/or telehealth sessions
Experience with ADHD and/or Eating Disorders is a plus, interest in these populations is a must as these are the majority of clients we support.
Compensation and Caseloads:
This is currently a 1099 position with a 70/30 split, meaning you will receive 70% of your fees and the remaining 30% will go towards administrative and marketing costs.
We do not have client minimums, allowing you the flexibility to create your own schedule and caseload. We value quality over quantity, clinician wellbeing, transparency, collaboration, and democratic leadership.
Please note - we are currently a small operation but as our company grows, there is potential for this to become a W2 employee option if that is your preference.
It is entirely up to you if you want to take insurance or be completely private pay, but if you are willing to take insurance we will get you credentialed with the companies we already have contracts with (Optum, Anthem BCBS, Network Health, Prevea360, and Quartz).
If you are a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in play therapy who is looking to be a part of a collaborative team with a flexible schedule, we would love to talk about you joining our collaboration!
