Alexa’s respect for human resilience and genuine curiosity about the stories that shape who people are led her to counseling, where she is dedicated to creating a supportive, affirming space that honors everyone’s unique stories and strengths.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor – In Training* and recently earned her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. She has experience in an outpatient clinic, college counseling center, and community mental health settings, helping clients with a variety of different mental health concerns.

Alexa takes an integrative, person-centered approach to counseling, combining different counseling methods with a focus on understanding each person. Alexa works alongside each client to find what feels most helpful and empowering, supporting them in reconnecting with their strengths and moving toward meaningful change.

When she’s not meeting with clients, Alexa is most likely outdoors—hiking, exploring, and spending time with her family and friends.

*Alexa is currently working toward her 3000 supervised hours for licensure required in Wisconsin and is supervised by the founder of Rabbit Holes Counseling, Nichole Baumgartner LPC.
