Job Title: Licensed Professional Counselor - Children & Adolescent

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in play therapy to join our team. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with children and adolescents using play therapy techniques to help them process and cope with emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, play therapy theories and techniques, and a passion for helping children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual experiential and play therapy sessions with children and adolescents

  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals

  • Collaborate with other team members and outside professionals to provide comprehensive care

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans

  • Attend regular team collaboration meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in play therapy

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families in a clinical setting

  • Knowledge of various play therapy theories and techniques

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds

  • Must have a reliable form of transportation and be willing to travel to either Green Bay or Appleton office for in person sessions, with option for telehealth sessions as needed as well.

  • Experience with ADHD and/or Eating Disorders is a plus, interest in these populations is a must. 

This is a 1099 position with a 70/30 split, meaning you will receive 70% of your fees and the remaining 30% will go towards administrative and marketing costs. We don’t have required client minimums, and want you to have the flexibility to create your own schedule and caseload.
